What the hell am I doing chronicles
Kinda crazed right now, moving out of the studio I shared with some fantastic artists for a little over 5 years! Headed to grad school this fall.
So I've decided to write about what it's like to give up one perfectly good life and trade it for a completely unknown-what-the-hell-am-I-doing life. In two months I am headed to Philadelphia to get my MFA in painting. I am excited, but equally terrified. Too late to run back so I'm makin' like a baby and headin on out. Nuts.
I have started over before so I figure I can do it again.

Well, I don't know you personally, though I love your work and your commentaries, but I think this will be a good thing and everything will be fine. Life is for living, really...good luck and keep doing wonderful work. And I know you hate nice people so I will try not to overdo the positive stuff...
yay for new adventures in making stuff! I was just made aware of your work on the blog "aesthetic outburst" and liked what you do so much, i have spent half the day looking at your pictures and reading some of your words...funny,insightful, wry, and just plain bizarre in the best of ways. thanks for doing what you do and posting it on the interweb so folks in the midwest can enjoy. ps i met my perfectly wacky, dear beloved husband on eharmony. it was fun to read about episodes from your saga. i have a few too.
sadly we didn't hear about party on time. and sadly we will miss the hell out your current incarnation. you are an amazing artist--you have brought so much happiness and laughter into our house and lives (and we mean that in the most sincere way--not some trite way...). i mean, we do own thirteen of your works--so it's not like we are talking out our mighty arses. okay, so we love your work--we love you. you will kick ass no matter what you do.
tracy and deborah
Your work is awesomer than anything. In this crappy economy, doin' schoolin' is smart. You'll be inspired all over again! Have fun.
